This morning, our Juniors took on an “Endurance Challenge” while wearing their packs!

The challenge consisted of three stages:

🔹 Search
🔹 Hose pack carry
🔹 Ladder setup and climb

Great job by all the Juniors for pushing themselves and taking on the challenge! 💪🚒

Keep the road workers safe. Slow down and pull over when available.

Suffolk County Fire Rescue and Emergency Services just wants to remind everyone of New York State's Move Over law.

The law says that for police cars, ambulances, tow trucks, construction, fire trucks, other EMS and emergency vehicles, and disabled vehicles on the side of the road, you must move over a lane or slow down. This helps protect anyone who works along our roadways as well as drivers. Whether they are flashing lights behind you or pulled over to the side at work, you must move over for them and/or slow down.

Help keep our roads safe.
