About the Position:

The Mount Pulaski Police Department is seeking dedicated and community-focused individuals to join our law enforcement team. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and building strong relationships with the residents of Mount Pulaski.

Responsibilities:
• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect criminal activity
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service
• Conduct traffic enforcement and accident investigations

Trick or Treat hours for Monday, October 31, 2022, will be from 5 pm to 8 pm.

I would like to remind everyone to use caution:

While crossing streets and look both ways.

Bring a working flashlight and have reflective clothing/bags to be seen.

Walk on sidewalks or along the edge of the road facing traffic.

Examine all treats for choking hazards and/or tampering.

Only eat factory-wrapped treats and do not eat homemade treats unless you know who prepared them.

Have a trusted adult with you and enjoy your time out.

Mt. Pulaski Residents,

It has been brought to our attention that some golf cart or side-by-side owners are not properly securing their children under the age of eight years old.

I want to remind everyone whoever is in control of operating a golf cart or side-by-side is responsible for themselves and all passengers while traveling on the city streets with the proper safety restraint system.

Children under the age of eight years old must be in a safety restraint system as they would be in your motor vehicle when traveling anywhere.

and will be selling educational books for families next
week throughout Mount Pulaski. He is with Southwestern Advantage out of Tennessee; this is the vehicle he will be in.

This post is to keep the residents aware that he has
been approved by the Mount Pulaski Police

•You must go to city hall and get an application.

•That application goes to Chief Anthony West

•Chief West then does a background check on the
applicant, if the applicant has nothing concerning in
the background check they are approved.
