Last week Wednesday thru Friday the Sagchip Wildland crew assisted the Michigan DNR on a 63 acre fire in Seney Michigan. It is awesome that we could be apart of that and we could assist the DNR with manpower and come together to help out the community.

Michigan BIA, Superior National Forest, and Minnesota DNR firefighters worked together on the Bunggee Fire. Interagency coordination is essential to the success of wildland fire operations.

A line has been constructed around the Bunggee Fire and 4 firefighters remain on site. They will continue to patrol and monitor to keep the fire within its existing perimeter.
