Last weekend, June 4-6, we finished up our spring soccer and tee ball seasons!⚽⚾

While they did not start out the way we wanted, thanks to all the rain we got mid-April, we ended the seasons on a high note - with sunshine and smiling faces.

Thank you to everyone who participated in both sports this spring! We cannot wait for another great spring sports season next year.

Don't miss your chance to win big at this year's Rubber Duck Derby!

Next Wednesday, June 17, at Island Park, we will kick off the event with duck-themed games and prizes for all to enjoy until the race begins. Duck registration and games will run from 6:00-7:00p.m., with the race beginning at 7:15p.m.

Join us Saturday May, 30 as we honor the legacy of David Ling with a tree dedication celebrating his lasting impact on Isabella County parks and the Mt. Pleasant community.

The event will include a short talk on the value of urban forests, followed by a guided walk through Chipp-A-Waters Park.

Tree species being dedicated include red maple, blackgum, river birch, whitespire birch, eastern redbud, swamp white oak, sugar maple, and serviceberry.

Join us in recognizing the legacy of David Ling through a tree dedication celebrating his lasting support of Isabella County parks and the Mt. Pleasant community.

The gathering will also feature a brief discussion on the importance of urban forests and how they contribute to healthier communities and a stronger environment. Tree species being dedicated include red maple, blackgum, river birch, whitespire birch, eastern redbud, swamp white oak, sugar maple, and serviceberry.

A guided walk through Chipp-A-Waters Park will follow the ceremony.
