Over the past few days the Community Center has been a hive of activity, as we prepare for the start of construction. The City was awarded a Grant back in the spring to update and renovate the Center and the time has come for Construction to start. January 1st, 2026, the center will busier than every, but not in the normal way! There will be some changes over the course of construction. From January 1st till the end of October, the center will not be available for rentals or use.
For all of you who park in the Centers parking lot for School pick up, our West side parking lot will be blocked off. We will set up barricades around the areas that you will not be allowed into during this time. The construction crews will have to bring in equipment, supplies, and there will be debris from work being done. So we ask that you please stay out of the areas which will be marked off for the crew.
Please be patient with us as we navigate the down time. We will still continue some of the monthly events that our Parks and Recreation department holds but they will be in new locations and may no be every month. Please keep an eye on our FB page, we will do our very best to keep you up to date and informed as to what events are coming and where they will be located. We will also be working hard, coming up with new things we can offer once the doors open again!
We are very excited about the work being done and we can not wait for you all to see the new and improved center once complete.

Due to some mechanical issues the Splash Pad will be shut down for the year. Thank you all to those who enjoyed your days at the pad and we will see you next Memorial Day.

We have some schools supplies left and lots of hotdogs and drinks! Also Bedford and Jennifer are here from Heritage Bank with cool pops on This hot day! We are here till 1 pm
