Mount Pleasant Fire

Mount Pleasant Fire The City of Mount Pleasant Fire Department was established in 1899. We also strive to educate our community on fire and life safety.

The Mount Pleasant Fire Department serves the citizens of Mount Pleasant and everyone who comes into our community. Some people think that all the fire department does is respond to fires, this is not the case with MPFD. We respond to fires, car accidents, medical emergencies, hazardous material incidents, odor and smoke investigations and any other type of incident or public service that our comm

unity may call upon us for. In 2013 the Fire Department added a Public Education Coordinator to its ranks. This Firefighter not only works a regular shift like other firefighter but he also works on educating everyone in the community on fire and life safety. The Mount Pleasant Fire Department is and will always be here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a years to serve any one in the Mount Pleasant area.
