National Night Out was a huge success and we owe it to the businesses, community organizations, and the team behind the scenes! The community support and turnout was overwhelming. We had a great time!

10/06/2026

The main entrance into Dellwood Park off of East Ferguson Rd, will be barricaded at 2 pm today. This will give the workers the time needed to setup for National Night Out! Please avoid parking in this area at that time.

Come out and see us TONIGHT from 5pm-8pm at Dellwood Park!! FREE hotdogs, chips, drinks, and sno-cones!

Come out and see us TOMORROW night!!

MPPD and MPFD had the amazing opportunity to participate in the soccer tournament fundraiser for Kicking it for Luna!! We had a great time and of course… MPPD brought home the win!

Please remember to lock your car and never leave valuable property inside. Most of our vehicle burglaries in Mount Pleasant are of unlocked cars. Wallets, purses, guns, laptops, cellphones, cash...all are stolen out of MP vehicles each year. Saying, "I should be able to leave it in the car without someone stealing it" is not crime prevention!

Thank you Rameez Latif with Homeboys for the water donation and your continued support of MPPD!
