Good afternoon everyone, we would like to share the below fundraising dinner with you to assist with the sudden illness and hospitalization costs of the daughter of our Chief and one of our Paramedics. The DH&L station family has been doing everything we can to help support the family and we would like to extend the invite to our community both parents serve to also assist in their time of need. The Fremont Fire Department would like to extend a sincere thank you to Port Trevorton Fire Company for the invitation to attend the Heavy Vehicle Rescue Course presented by Rescue Techs, LLC.

Representing Fremont at the training were Chief Wagner, Assistant Chief Weader, Firefighter Cordell Hoover, and Firefighter Wes Barrick. During this Saturday’s session, participants focused on heavy vehicle stabilization and rigging techniques, building the foundation for safe and effective rescue operations.

Next Saturday, the class will conclude with hands-on scenarios where students will utilize our rescue equipment to practice extricating victims and learn the anatomy of heavy vehicle rescues involving trucks, buses, and other large commercial vehicles.

We are proud of our members for their commitment to continuing their education and sharpening their skills. Ongoing training like this ensures that the Fremont Fire Department is prepared to provide the highest level of service and the best possible care to our community when it matters most.

🎉 Congratulations to Hailie Ditty! 🎉

The Fremont Fire Department would like to congratulate Hailie Ditty on successfully passing her National Registry Emergency Medical Responder (NREMT EMR) exam!

Hailie’s accomplishment adds another qualified provider to our department, helping strengthen our ability to serve the community. She will be able to assist on the ambulance and help staff the Fremont Fire Department’s Quick Response Squad, ensuring we can continue providing timely emergency medical care when our ambulance is already committed to another incident.

We are proud of Hailie’s hard work and dedication to expanding her skills in emergency services. Your commitment makes a difference for our department and the community we serve.

The Fremont Fire Department would like to congratulate Fire Chief Jacob Wagner on successfully passing the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Advanced EMT (AEMT) examination!

This accomplishment represents countless hours of dedication, training, and hard work. By obtaining his AEMT certification, Chief Wagner will now be able to provide advanced life support interventions under our Intermediate ALS (IALS) protocols on Ambulance 100.

Having another IALS provider join the ranks of our dedicated EMS members means our community will receive advanced medical care more quickly when every second counts. Whether responding to cardiac emergencies, traumatic injuries, respiratory distress, or other critical incidents, this additional level of care will help improve patient outcomes and enhance the services we provide to our residents and visitors.

Chief Wagner's commitment to continuing education and improving emergency medical services demonstrates the dedication that our members have to serving the community.

Please join us in congratulating Chief Wagner on this outstanding achievement and thanking him for his continued commitment to the Fremont Fire Department and the citizens we proudly serve.

As the 2026 Fremont Fire Department Strawberry Festival comes to a close, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who helped make this year's event such a tremendous success.

Thank you to the countless community members who came out to enjoy the festival, support our department, and spend time with family and friends throughout the week. Your continued support means more to us than words can express.

We would also like to recognize and thank all of our dedicated volunteers, members, family members, and friends who worked tirelessly night after night in the food stands, ticket booths, kitchen, and throughout the grounds. The long hours and hard work behind the scenes are what make this event possible.

A special thank you goes out to the local businesses that stepped up to help during the festival. Their willingness to provide assistance and support allowed our firefighters and volunteers to take much-needed breaks while ensuring operations continued smoothly. We are fortunate to have businesses in our community that are always willing to lend a hand when needed.

Without the support of our community, local businesses, and the commitment of our volunteers, the Strawberry Festival would not be the success it is year after year. We are truly grateful for everyone who played a part in making this event possible.

🚒🍓 Fremont Fire Department Update 🍓🚒

The Fremont Fire Department has been busy this week during our Annual Strawberry Festival! While preparing for and supporting this great community event, our volunteers have also responded to multiple emergency incidents throughout the area.

This week, our members responded to:
• A land search in Washington Township
• A shed fire in Perry Township
• Multiple EMS incidents throughout our response area

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers who stepped up to ensure we could handle these emergencies while continuing to operate our festival activities.

We would also like to thank the members of our community who stepped in to help work the stands and support the festival whenever our firefighters and EMS personnel were called away to respond to incidents. Your support is greatly appreciated and is what makes our community so special.

As we wrap up another successful Strawberry Festival, we hope to see everyone tonight at the carnival for the final evening of festivities!
