What an amazing day our community shared together! 🐰💛

Pictures with the Easter Bunny at The Local Coffee Shop + Cakery was a wonderful success, and it was so special to see so many families come out, smile, and enjoy the moment.

We are incredibly grateful to all of our volunteers and supporters who gave their time, energy, equipment, and materials to make this event happen. Your dedication truly made a difference!
Together, we raised $151, and with The Local Coffee + Cakery’s generous match, we reached a total of $302! 🎉

This is what community is all about. Thank you all for being part of something so meaningful and for supporting the Mount Orab Library Literacy Programs

Do you know how many kinds of engineering jobs are out there? SO many!

Mt. Orab Library is happy to host our own assortment of engineers in all the different fields at the Engineer Academy on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026 at 11am! Kids, (ages 7-107) can come to learn from the pros about what they do to keep our society functioning! From mechanical engineering to electrical to construction to so much more, there's a WHOLE WORLD of exciting discoveries in store!

Keep an eye on our calendar for the rest of the Academies series – workshops to spark interest in a career path for your school age child! This program is funded by Party with a Purpose.

Mt. Orab Library is pleased to announce that local author & illustrator, Sean Green, will be making a special visit to the library on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 11:30am-1pm! Green is a graduate from Western Brown High School coming ready to discuss his writing &art; with copies of his latest book, Kamp Fuzzyfazoo, available for sale from the author.

February is love your library month and guess what!!! We have a silent auction planned. I plan to post sneak peeks of the items we will have here be sure to share and follow.

📚 Mt. Orab Library Silent Auction:

• When: Monday, Feb 2nd – Friday, Feb 27th.

• Where: Visit the library in person to see the items and the official bidding binder.

• How to Bid:

•Visit the front desk for a bid #
• Find your favorite item in the binder.
• Check the starting bid and current high bid.
• Increase the bid by at least $1.
• Winning: High bidders will be contacted after Feb 27th.
• Payment: Cash or Venmo accepted.
• The Cause: 100% of proceeds go to Friends of the Mt. Orab Library to fund our community programs!tk
