We ended Nursing Home Week with Scrabble Day! Staff donned their new shirts (or made their own) and were tasked with working in teams to come up with words. While we had some great and creative submissions, Lilac blew us away with "vulcanizable" (after the judges had to pause to check the dictionary).
The residents meanwhile had a blast with our life-size version of whack-a-mole as they used pool noodles to give staff popping out of holes a bop.
As Nursing Home Week draws to a close, we again are reminded of how each staff, resident, patient, registrant, family, and member of the community come together to make the LCCNR special. From everyone here at the LCCNR, thank you and we hope you all had a wonderful Nursing Home Week!

Another fun day of Nursing Home Week! Today we had to "Guess Who?" with fun costumes many laughs. Residents were able to enjoy the laughter and sleuth out our disguises. What isn't a mystery is the fantastic team that helps bring care, fun, and joy to the residents and patients.
Tomorrow we close with Scrabble. Grab a letter and work with teams to create words for points for the coveted trophy. All are welcome to dress in spirit in our new LCCNR shirts or Scrabble gear. See you tomorrow at 9:30am in the Atrium! Happy Nursing Home Week!
