🇺🇸 Yesterday, my office and I sat down with our local veterans for a roundtable discussion. My goal was simple: to ask directly, "What can I do to support you?"

As a daughter of a veteran, I’ve seen the challenges that come after service. I want to make sure we are caring for all our veterans, not just with words, but with action!

I’m so grateful to have heard from so many brave voices and the organizations backing them. Thank you for trusting me with your stories. I am listening, and I value your perspective.

If you weren’t able to attend this one, stay on the lookout for our next meeting early 2027!

Over the weekend, I had the honor and privilege to attend the Mount Laurel Emergency Medical Services recognition of the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 and the New Jersey Military Review National Guard honoring.

Paying respect to those fallen not only on September 11, 2001, but also throughout the last 2 decades.

During the review, Governor Sherrill and Brigadier General Mays did the official inspection of the squadrons and gave remarks on the importance of military duty and answering the call.

Over the last 25 years since 9/11 our country has been on active duty protecting and serving the United States of America. I’m honored to say we have the best of the best on guard.

God Bless the 🇺🇸

Today, we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11 and honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, including so many from New Jersey. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the countless acts of courage and compassion that followed, and the families who have carried the weight of that loss for 25 years.

A quarter century later, 100 million Americans are too young to remember the day that changed our nation forever. It is our responsibility to ensure future generations understand what happened, honor the sacrifices made, and remember those we lost.

As we commemorate this anniversary, may we continue to share not only the story of unimaginable loss, but also the enduring examples of bravery, unity, compassion, and service that emerged in its wake.

September is National Sepsis Awareness Month, an important opportunity to raise awareness about a life-threatening medical emergency that can happen when the body has an extreme response to an infection.

When it comes to sepsis, recognizing the warning signs and acting quickly can save lives.

That’s why I sponsored the Stop Sepsis Act, which would require hospitals to strengthen sepsis recognition and treatment protocols, train staff, and implement measures to improve patient care. I am also introducing a joint resolution making September Sepsis Awareness Month in New Jersey.

Families should be able to trust that when every minute matters, our hospitals are prepared to act. I’ll keep fighting to get this legislation across the finish line and help protect patients across New Jersey.

Every Sepsis Awareness Month, people come together to help save lives by raising awareness of the leading cause of deaths...
