Today we pause to honor and remember the brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸❤️ From all of us at West Elementary, we are forever grateful for the courage, strength, and selflessness of the men and women who served our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We are wishing our Bulldog families a safe and meaningful Memorial Day as we reflect, remember, and give thanks. ❤️🤍💙

🚂📣 HAPPY TOOT YOUR HORN TUESDAY! 📣🚂

It's our last Toot Your Horn Tuesday of the year, so we're going out with a bang by celebrating TWO amazing teachers who make West such a special place!🐾

✨ First up, a huge TOOT TOOT for Mrs. Ihmeidan, an incredible fifth grade teacher! One parent shared how thankful they are for the impact she has had on their child this year—not only preparing her academically for middle school, but also helping build confidence, independence, and a love for learning along the way. We are so thankful for the positive influence she has on her students during such an important year! ❤️

✨ Next, we are celebrating Mrs. Reed, one of our wonderful third grade teachers! A parent shared how much Mrs. Reed’s kindness and love mean to their family. She even took time out of her weekend to attend her student’s soccer game—showing just how deeply she cares about the children in her classroom beyond the school day. The love and support she pours into her students make such a lasting impact, and we are so lucky to have her at West!⚽

🎺🐾 Toot Your Horn THURSDAY! 🐾🎺

Today we’re celebrating our incredible second grade teacher, Mrs. Head🎉

Mrs. Head does such an amazing job making learning exciting and creating a classroom environment where students truly love coming to school each day. Even during testing season, she finds ways to make students feel confident, encouraged, and excited instead of nervous or overwhelmed.

The impact she has on her students is so evident in the joy and enthusiasm they have for school each morning. Thank you, Mrs. Head, for the love, positivity, and dedication you pour into your classroom every single day. West is so lucky to have you❤️🐶
