Today is the 25th anniversary of 9/11

We remember the 2,977 lives lost.
We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, dispatchers, military members, and countless everyday Americans who responded toward extreme danger to help others without question.

We remember the 343 FDNY firefighters who answered their final call that morning — along with every first responder whose courage and sacrifice showed the world what it truly means to serve.

Today, we also remember what followed — a nation united by compassion, kindness, patriotism, and the determination to stand together.

May we honor those we lost not only by remembering how they died, but by remembering how Americans came together in the days that followed.
