We had a great time at STAR Camp last week! There were a total of 66 youth and 11 adults in attendance, representing four counties from the Ouachita District. We were especially proud to have five members from Montgomery County to participate in this year's camp.

Throughout the week, campers participated in several hands-on activities, including fish identification, barn quilt painting, and woodworking. These activities provided great learning opportunities and helped make the camp both educational an fun.

I want to thank all of the volunteers who came and helped make this week such a success.

A huge shout-out to Farm Credit for sponsoring our Tuesday night meal with pizza. Also, a special thank you to Keith Smith for sponsoring Wednesday night's meal of hamburgers and hotdogs.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Warren Black and Mr. Rodney Standridge for coming out and cooking for everyone.

Thank you all for your generosity, support, and dedication to making STAR Camp a wonderful experience for our youth. We are grateful for everyone who contributed their time, talents, and resources to make this year's camp a memorable experience!
