SMRA ARRL 2026 Field Day will held on Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th. We are setup and will transmit from the Emergency Services Training Academy, 180 Army Heritage Drive, Carlisle, PA 17013.

Please join us these days for a great learning experience and to try your hand at the radio hobby! If you would like to attend please visit our website and fill out a quick survey to let us know you are coming. You do not need to have a call sign to attend, you can operate at one of our stations!

ARRL Field Day is quickly approaching! SMRA will be setup on June 27th and June 28th to operate during the largest radio event of the year. We'll have multiple stations and operators demonstrating different aspects of radio communications, including voice, CW (Morse), digital, satellite, and more. If you are interested in attending, please visit our website and sign up!

The event will be held at the Carlisle Emergency Services Training Academy at 180 Army Heritage Drive. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Last night we had a great turn out at our MTM meeting! We built a 2m ground plane antenna at The Winery at Long Shot Farms in Carlisle. Everyone who attended was able to practice radio skills by building their antenna and they got to take it home with them after the meeting! Thank you to Chaz for putting everything together for this meeting. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped with the antenna builds and to everyone who attended for making it a great event!

Tomorrow morning at 9:00am is the SMRA weekly rag-chew net! Join us on 443.30 (+5 Mhz offset, 67hz tone) to spend some time talking and making friends. No net control, just conversation.

Tonight is the SMRA radio net. Join us on 145.43 at 8:30pm to check into the net! ARRL Audio news will play before the net starting at 8:10pm. Immediately after the net at 9:00pm is the Elmer tech net on the same frequency.
