Humane Society of Morrow County The HSofMC is a 501(c)(3) organization aiding animals in need in Morrow County, OH. We offer programs to assist with the sterilization of the counties' pets.

We are managed by an all volunteer board and operate solely with the manpower of volunteers freely giving of their time and energies. Since 1974 our mission has been to promote animal welfare, relieve suffering and to educate the public. Our Animal Resource Center opened in 2016, our first brick and mortar location ever! We offer community assistance, educational opportunities and showcase adoptables there. Most of our adoptables are fostered in private homes but we do have a full time adoptable at our center that can be viewed during our regular hours OR by appointment. We pride ourselves in educating the public on the proper care and nutrition of any animal species and work long and hard on the sterilization of dogs and cats. We welcome any interest in fostering or volunteering at the community shows. Volunteers and foster families need not live within Morrow county to offer assistance but this is subject to review and approval. We offer monthly meetings open to the general public on the 2nd Thursday of each month at our 16 S. Main St. location.

We are SO happy for this amazing girl! Ruby came to us from a Morrow County stray cat colony, and now those days are officially behind her. She’ll be trading life on the streets for a safe, loving, cozy home of her very own. 🏡🐱

Okay…maybe a cool, cozy home right now with this heat. 😂☀️

Whatever the temperature, Ruby, live it up, sweet girl...you deserve every soft bed, every treat, every snuggle and every bit of love coming your way.

Best to drop off at our center on our stoop or during open hours. Sometimes delivery companies will not leave items unless we are open which causes them to be returned to shipper.
