We’re thrilled to announce that the Friends of the Mt. Enterprise Library has been selected as a 2026 Summer Reading Program Grant Recipient through the Dollar General Literacy Foundation! More info at: https://www.dgliteracy.org/grant-programs/? -reading

This generous funding will help us provide even more FREE programs, activities, crafts, prizes, and learning opportunities for readers of all ages during this year’s Summer Reading Program: “Unearth A Story”

We are incredibly grateful to the Dollar General Literacy Foundation for supporting literacy and lifelong learning in communities like ours. We can’t wait to share an amazing summer filled with stories, creativity, discovery, and community fun.

Don't forget to stop in to register your child for our summer program and join us as we grow imaginations all summer long!

Schools, public libraries, and nonprofit organizations who help K-12 students that are below grade level or having trouble reading are eligible to apply. Grant funding is provided to assist in the following areas:
