🎰 GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY. KNOW YOUR LIMITS.

Gambling should be entertainment—not a way to pay the bills, solve financial problems, or chase losses.

Before you place your next bet, take a moment to ask yourself:
💭 Am I gambling more than I planned?
💭 Am I chasing losses?
💭 Is gambling affecting my finances, relationships, work, or daily life?
💭 Do I feel like I need to gamble more to get the same excitement?

A quick screening can help you take an honest look at your gambling habits.

💜 OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY 💜

Today, we remember those we have lost to overdose, support those in recovery, and stand with families and communities affected by substance use.

Overdose can happen to anyone. Knowing how to respond can save a life. 💜

🩹 Carry Narcan. Save a life.

Naloxone (Narcan) is a medication that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose and give someone a second chance.

📍 Narcan is available at the Wabash County Health Department.

You don't have to be a medical professional to carry Narcan. Having it on hand and knowing how to use it could make the difference between life and death.

Let's work together to prevent overdose, reduce stigma, and support recovery. 💜

In 1995, Dolly Parton started mailing books to children in her home county to inspire children to love reading in honor of her dad, who couldn’t read or write.

That idea lives here too. Every month, 252 children in Wabash County find a book in the mailbox — because of neighbors who fund it, volunteers who run it, and a woman from Sevier County, TN, who started it all.

Thank you, Dolly. We will always love you.
