The Mt. Calvary Ambulance Service sends thoughts and prayers to all who were affected by this tragedy. Our hearts are with all of you.

On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 7:17 p.m., the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office Communications Center received multiple 911 calls reporting a single-vehicle rollover crash near W1951 Highway HH in the Town of Calumet, Fond du Lac County.
Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene along with personnel from the Calumet Fire Department and the Calumet County Sheriff's Office. While emergency responders were en route, additional information indicated that five to six occupants were involved in the crash. Due to the reported number of occupants and the severity of the incident, additional ambulance resources were requested.

Preliminary investigation indicates a sport utility vehicle traveling westbound on Highway HH failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert and driveway, became airborne, collided with a utility pole, and subsequently rolled over.

The driver, a 16-year-old female from Sheboygan, and a 15-year-old passenger were transported by ambulance to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. A 16-year-old female passenger sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of family members.
A 15-year-old passenger was transported by helicopter to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee. Another 15-year-old passenger was transported by his parents to St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan for medical evaluation. A 14-year-old passenger was not injured and was released to a parent at the scene.

Based on the preliminary investigation, impairment appears to be a contributing factor in the crash.

The 16-year-old driver was arrested and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail on suspicion of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Members of the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office Crash Reconstruction Team responded to assist with the investigation. The crash remains under active investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office.

Highway HH was closed for approximately five hours while emergency personnel responded to the scene and investigators processed evidence.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the following agencies and organizations for their assistance: Calumet Fire Department, Mount Calvary Ambulance, City of Fond du Lac Ambulance, Kiel Ambulance, Wisconsin State Patrol, Calumet County Sheriff's Office, ThedaStar Air Medical Transport, and WE Energies.

It is National CPR and AED Awareness Week!

Here are a few important facts from the American Heart Association we would like to share.

1. More than 350,000 people experience an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in the United States each year.

2. CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival.

3. About 70% of cardiac arrests happen at home. The life you save with CPR is most likely to be a family member, friend, or loved one.

5. When an AED is used within the first minute of cardiac arrest, survival rates can be as high as 90%. Every minute that defibrillation is delayed decreases survival by approximately 7–10%.

Celebrating 25 Years of Service!

This year, we are proud to recognize Stacy C., EMT, for 25 years of dedicated service with the Mt. Calvary Ambulance Service.

Stacy's journey began in 2000 shortly after she and her husband purchased their home in Mt. Calvary. An EMT from the service approached her and shared that the ambulance service was in need of volunteers, asking if she would be willing to take the EMT class and join the team.

At the time, Stacy was working at Schwarz's while also providing home care and hospice services. With a recent marriage, a new home, and a desire to become involved in her community, becoming an EMT felt like a perfect fit.

"I believe in giving back to the community in which one lives," Stacy shares. "It takes volunteers in all different roles to make a community run. I believed that this was where I could give back."

Over the past 25 years, Stacy has responded to countless calls and touched the lives of many people throughout our community. While there are many calls she remembers and reflects on, what stands out most is the opportunity to be a familiar face during someone's most difficult moments.

"I believe that sometimes I can be a familiar face to someone going through a scary or difficult time. I hope to bring a calming effect to some patients or their family members in their time of need."

When she's not serving our community, Stacy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gathering for Sunday night family dinners, and relaxing at the family cabin up north. She also enjoys hot yoga and, during the summer months, loves tending to her flowers and small garden.

For 25 years, Stacy has exemplified compassion, commitment, and community service. Thank you, Stacy, for the countless hours you've dedicated to helping others and for making a difference in the lives of so many.
