The community was named in honor of poet Robert Burns' birthplace in Ayr, Scotland. The "mount" was added to indicate its location on the highest point of the land area. Pool last day and post-season hours!

Itā€™s been a great summer season! With that being said, our last regular day will be Saturday, August 22nd with us closing at 5pm. Donā€™t be sad though, we will have several post-season weekends as long as the weather cooperates and guards are available!

Post-season Dates and Times:
ā–ŖļøStarting Monday, August 24th, we will be open every M-F from 10a-12p for water aerobics and adult swimming until the end of September. (Minus Labor Day)
$3 per day if you donā€™t already have a season pass purchased.

ā–ŖļøStarting Sunday, August 30th, we will be open every Sunday and Saturday through September from 1p-4p for public swim, plus adult swim from 4p-5pm.
$5 for the day per person if you donā€™t already have a season pass purchased.

We hope you join us for some post-season swimming time!

*Dates and times are subject to change due to weather. Check here for closing updates or changes, or call the pool at 641-464-3863.

Everyone welcome Luise Laas, a university student from Estonia, Europe, to Mount Ayr! She is doing a summer exchange program selling educational books and apps for families from young toddler age, all the way to college prep.
Luise has acquired her peddler's permit and will be in town today (July 27) and tomorrow July (28), so if you see her feel free to say hi!
