This week in Career Explorations…

6th grade students in Mrs. Felt’s classes learned about the five strands of Social Studies through a matching activity. Students read different scenarios and decided which strand of Social Studies each scenario represented based on keywords and context clues.

Students also created their own scenarios and presented them to the class using Google Slides, including pictures, keywords, and definitions to demonstrate their understanding.

FRIDAY IS PICTURE DAY!
Friday is Fall Picture Day at GMS! All students will get their pictures taken for the yearbook. Your child should send home a picture form to fill out and return on friday, or you can order pictures online with the code below.
