Moundsville Volunteer Fire Department 100% Volunteer fire station that strives to provide the best service possible. MVFD currently operates 2 engine companies, 1 truck company and 1 rescue company.

We provide water rescue and ATV rescue.

🚒🚑 JUNE 20th 100 YEAR CELEBRATION 🚑🚒
Saturday come Celebrate with Glen Dale Fire Department at Glen Dale Park. We will kick off the festivities with a parade through town at 10:30. Food and refreshments will be offered after the parade at the park Shelter along with memorabilia of our past 100 years. Our Fire and EMS vehicles will be on display as well. Free swimming at the pool will be offered all along with a DJ from 12-4. Thank You for your support.

Units arrived in scene to find 2 structures on fire. A aggressive offensive attack was made.
Command advised units to evacuate the structure and use defensive operations.

Units responded to Duck lane in Glen Dale to assist Glen Dale engine 401-2 with illegal burn. Units operated on scene for several hours and heavy equipment was brought in to extinguish the fire and keep it from spreading.

Responded to George’s court for an illegal burn. Property owner extinguished the 🔥.

Roberts ridge Rescue/engine 1601-3 was staged at Kroger plaza lot in case additional manpower was needed or if another call came in.
Roberts ridge tanker 1602 was placed back in service.
