Again. Please follow Joi Alon for the latest. Just took a look at radar and storms are severe. Expect 60mph winds across southeast Missouri. Instability gradient is strong enough for storms to continue SE into the Bootheel.

05/04/2026

Pulaski County Residents residing on the affected roads, be advised that 911 response times will be delayed due to the bridge construction on Tick Ridge Road, beginning May 6th, 2026.

04/28/2026

First Alert! A tornado watch has been issued for the Bootheel and NW Tennessee until 10PM. Again, the main threat is large hail but there is a slight greater wind and tornado threat in our far southern counties. The watch is out until 10PM but the main threat should exit our area around 8PM.

04/28/2026

First Alert. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the shaded counties in the Heartland. Main threat will be hail. Most hail will likely be up to dime size but a few isolated stones up to golf ball size will be possible. The watch goes through 9PM. Main threat looks to end around 8PM. The counties in the Bootheel and NW Tennessee were not added in this Watch. There is a chance those counties may be put in a severe thunderstorsm or tornado watch soon based on where the warm front ends up. Again, main threat for all of us is hail with a small wind and tornado risk in our far southern counties.
