NOTICE OF CURFEW IMPLEMENTATION

EFFECTIVE DATE:
Monday, April 13, 2026

CURFEW HOURS:
8:30 PM – 6:00 AM

WHO THIS APPLIES TO:
All individuals 18 years of age and under

CURFEW REQUIREMENTS:
• Juveniles must be at home during curfew hours
• The Mound Bayou Police Department will actively enforce this curfew beginning Monday night

EXCEPTIONS:
Curfew does NOT apply if the minor is:
• Accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
• Traveling to or from work
• Traveling to or from a school-related activity
• Involved in a verified emergency situation

ENFORCEMENT & PENALTIES:
Failure to comply may result in:
• Citations
• Fines
• Possible legal action involving parents/guardians

Update: We’re sharing this map to help visitors find us while repairs are underway. After winter storm damage, the Mound Bayou Museum is temporarily open in a different section of the building at the same address. We are located on the JFK High School Campus and will remain there throughout the repair process.

Terminal Agency Coordinators play a critical role in maintaining compliance, security, and proper access to CJIS/NCIC systems while supporting law enforcement and emergency communications across the state.
