During Women’s History Month, we’re proud to celebrate the incredible women who help shape brighter futures for kids and teens here in Moultrie and Colquitt County.

🔹 Women mentors and staff inspire confidence, resilience, and leadership in the young people who walk through our doors every day.
🔹 Women in our community are strengthening families, neighborhoods, and support systems that help youth thrive.
🔹 Educators, advocates, and youth development leaders are creating opportunities that break barriers and open new pathways for local kids.
🔹 Women in STEM, business, the arts, and public service are modeling what’s possible for the next generation.
🔹 And countless women, including volunteers, caregivers, board members, and supporters, are driving positive change behind the scenes.

Their leadership reminds us that sustainability isn’t just about caring for the environment. It’s about nurturing people, strengthening communities, and building a future where every child can succeed.

Every March 8th, we join the world in celebrating the incredible women who make a difference in our lives and in the lives of the young people we serve here in Moultrie and Colquitt County.

International Women’s Day is a moment to honor the progress made toward gender equality, recognize the challenges that remain, and uplift the women whose leadership strengthens our community every day.

From mentors and staff to volunteers, caregivers, and supporters, women play a vital role in helping local youth reach their full potential, and today, we celebrate them.

The Kiwanis Club of Moultrie is proud to announce that our very own Joel Jenkins has been inducted as the Lieutenant Governor of the Kiwanis Club District 13! Joel has been an active and dedicated member of Kiwanis for 3 years. As the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Moultrie - Colquitt County, Joel has a strong passion for serving children and our community. Congratulations, Joel!
