Colquitt County's Juneteenth Celebration is happening Saturday, June 20, from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM on the square. Hosted by Mr. R. L. Baker, this vibrant event includes a full day of food, fun, fellowship, and entertainment. Attendees can enjoy a variety of local vendors, bounce houses, water slides, music, and much more.

Today, we proudly hung the banners for our Hometown Heroes Veteran Tribute Program. Downtown Moultrie Tomorrow Inc., in partnership with the Main Street Program, put this program together to honor the brave Colquitt County veterans and active-duty service members who have selflessly served our nation.

Downtown Moultrie was recently highlighted by Main Street America for the work done as part of our Theatre Block Renovation Project. New pavers were put down, bistro lighting was installed, landscaping was planted, and much more. The biggest transformation happened around the parking area. Three parking lots were combined. Creating more than 70 public parking spaces, overhead utility lines were taken underground, and pavers were placed. Thank you to everyone involved in this project, and thank you to Main Street America for highlighting the work we are doing to keep Moultrie, Georgia, looking its best!

This Second Saturday is a true celebration of the American spirit!
Local merchants have their best deals on the sidewalks, making it the perfect day to shop, explore, and support your favorite hometown businesses. Kids are playing in the bounce house and inflatable slide and enjoying all the festivities.
