Moultonborough Fire Rescue/MVFFA have offered Scholarships to young men and women who are residents of Moultonborough, NH and who will be pursuing their post-secondary education. This scholarship is for anyone pursuing a future career in FIRE, EMS, HEALTHCARE, ENGINEERING, and Alike. Deadline MAY 1st!!

For many years we have sponsored our towns Recreational Basketball teams. Several businesses in our town are able to contribute to youth athletics and we get the pleasure of being one of them. MVFFA represented team Fire on the court this weekend. We were very impressed by both teams. Especially by the athletes who played against their own teammates helping the other team. You see in smaller towns it can be very difficult gathering enough students to play at each level. Regardless, these young ladies stepped forward to play for the opposing team. This is not an easy ask, they all played their very best with smiles on their faces.
For us watching that was the true win!
This stands out to us, we constantly rely on other “teams” or surrounding Fire Departments (mutual aid) to assist when assistance is needed. We all bring our best, for the best outcome. The t-shirt color does not matter it is what you’re willing to do while wearing it. Thank you for contributing your best for a game well played. We saw you all!

WE would like to Congratulate our three recipients of the MVFFA scholarship!

Someone recently asked if we do fundraiser's. Answer, We used to but have not in sometime! With our 100th Anniversary less than 10 years away we have been spending time going through our archives gathering information. While doing this adventurous task, we stumbled upon some treasures.

~These Old Belt Buckles are 35 years old! Created for a fundraiser back in 1990.

~These T-Shirts were created to help with funding for Truck restoration. Less than 10 years old.

We are happy to sell whats available on the first come first serve basis.

Well dressed for the job. This photo was found amongst many others. No one knows who this individual is. At first, thought to be a family member. But now maybe just a neighbor kid who wanted to join in the training. Was he inspired by this training burn to become a volunteer when they became of age? Is this individual a full time FF now? We wonder out of all the years we have have gifted Scholarships, who ended up utilizing there scholarship for the Fire service! It’s ironic the Journey life takes you on… the question of the week- WHO are you and did you fulfill your childhood dream?
