Know of a lemonade stand in the area? Let us knowβ€”we'd love to stop by and support our local young entrepreneurs!

********PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT********

Seniors from the Moultonborough Academy have started their annual water elimination game. πŸ’§

This is a voluntary off-campus game where students are assigned targets to eliminate from the game. The goal is to be the last one standing.

You may start to see students walking around in public with sq**rt guns and donning swim goggles/floaties in attempts to tag other students. πŸ€ΏπŸ”«

This is a fun, bonding tradition during their final year in high school

The Moultonborough Police is in favor of students participating in this activity, just as long as it is done in a safe and legal manner.

The coordinating student body did the responsible thing and contacted our department about this activity beforehand. They were directed to remind students that they are not allowed to trespass, obstruct traffic, or disturb businesses while playing.

We would like the students to have fun, but we remind them to do so in public areas or on any piece of private property where they have permission to be. They are cautioned against lurking around houses, cars, and private property.

Good luck seniors and be safe!

We’re proud to recognize Master Patrol Officer Abbi Gillis of the Moultonborough Police Department for completing advanced training through the IACP Drug Evaluation and Classification Program (DECP).
This program equips officers with specialized skills to identify drug-related impairment and help keep our roads safe. Drug Recognition Experts play a vital role in detecting impaired drivers and distinguishing drug influence from medical conditions.
