Moulton Fire Department Moulton Fire Department is a combination department with 5 full time paid staff and over 20 volunteers. Moulton Fire district covers 136sq.

miles with Bankhead National Forest to the south and is the intersection of three major highways. Moulton is also the county seat for Lawrence Country served by 11 other volunteer departments. We currently hold a 4/9 ISO rating and adhere to the International Fire Codes.

Moulton Fire & Rescue proudly welcomes the new Engine 3 to our fleet. We are extremely grateful for the continued support from our Mayor and City Council in helping make this addition possible.

This new apparatus will enhance our ability to serve the community and provide the highest level of protection to the citizens of Moulton and Lawrence County. It is a valuable addition to our department, and we look forward to putting it into service.

As always, our top priority is the safety of our citizens, and ensuring we have the best equipment available to serve them effectively.

Moulton Fire & Rescue would like to thank McLemore’s Trucking for donating four loads of gravel, and Precision Excavation LLC for donating their time and equipment to spread it for us.

This will be used as a training and multipurpose area for the fire department, and we truly appreciate the support from our community!
