The Lawrence County Children's Policy Council is a non-profit organization devoted to improving the quality of life of the children and youth of the county. It is comprised of representatives of the agencies in the county that deal with children and youth. It is the responsibility of the council to assess the greatest needs of the county's children and youth. The council then seeks to develop programs and strategies to address those needs.
