We would like to extend a huge thank you to CB aerial application LLC, and Smith Fertilizer and Grain. For going over an ariel ag plane and chemical and hazard handling and operations. Department members from Centerville, Cincinnati, Mystic, Moravia, Moulton, and along with the Appanoose county sheriff's office attended the training.

from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm the Moulton Fire Department did respond to 4 grass fires in that time frame. From the north west side of Udell to the north side of Lancaster Missouri. Due to high winds and dry conditions the fire is spreading rapidly. Please be sure to notify the law Center in your county prior to burning. Moulton Fire Department responded to a garage fire that was attacked to the residence Wednesday morning at approximately 10:24.

Moulton Fire Department was assisted by Centerville Fire Department, Centerville Fire Rescue, Appanoose County sheriff's office, City of Moulton, and Alliant Energy.

Our hearts are heavy, and our thoughts are with the child, the child’s family, loved ones, and all those affected by this unimaginable tragedy. No words can adequately express the sorrow felt by our community during this difficult time.

We would like thank the multiple local agencies that responded quickly and selflessly to this incident. Their coordinated efforts and commitment to serving others exemplify the very best of public safety and emergency response.

Special recognition is extended to the firemen, including one of our own members and a Centerville Fire Fighter who bravely entered the icy water during the rescue efforts. This act reflects the dedication and courage our firefighters and first responders bring to their services every day. We also wish to thank the dedicated personnel from Moravia Fire and Rescue and Centerville Fire Rescue who provided quick, exceptional patient care during challenging conditions.

We are thankful for Moulton Fire Department for their rapid response and for providing ice rescue suits, which were critical to the safety of personnel operating in extremely dangerous conditions.

While today is marked by tragedy, it is also a reminder of the strength of mutual aid, teamwork, and the unwavering commitment of our emergency responders who answer the call without hesitation.

We ask that the community continue to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers and respect their privacy during this incredibly difficult time.
