Equal Not Less Project - Equal Parenting Advocacy & Outreach Organization The Equal Not Less Project bridges the gap in our family court systems for fathers by providing reso

ENL is a National 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization that advocates for equal parenting rights, we advocate for fathers, especially the rights of fathers who have been wrongly accused of crimes in order to be kept away from their children. (While The ENL Project exist because we recognize that fathers account for statistically the largest part of need, we also fully committed to helping mothers

who are being victimized by the legal system in custody cases. ENL believes that ALL parents are essential ) ENL is based out of Alabama and Texas, but we provide services Nationwide. Our mission is to help fathers navigate our legal system by providing resources, help gaining adequate counsel, understanding in their circumstances, and recovery after the process. Fathers who face these battles (and who are fighting to be part of their child's lives) are so under valued, and under represented It is our position that the Family court system should never be used as a weapon to alienate committed, loving, and capable parents from their children. We believe that Fathers are Equal Not Less and we will fight along side you to normalize equal parenting within the Family Court System.

On Father's Day Eve, let's remember all the fathers (and mothers) out there who are vigorously fighting just to be a part of their own children's lives. We at The Equal Not Less Project - Equal Parenting Advocacy & Outreach Organization believe fathers are equal, NOT less.
We know tomorrow is very stressful to those of you who will not get to be with their children, so please reach out to our partners The Fathers' Rights Movement on their Emotional Support Hotline

Less than two and a half ago years ago, ENL was just a thought, but I ran into the fire with it! We became a 501 (c )3 organization in less than 5 months! Now, we are very proud to say that we have had to implement a waiting list due to the overwhelming responses we are getting nationwide!
Please do us a favor, like us on FB/IG, and share our page/website. Because at ENL , we believe all children deserve BOTH parents in their lives.( As long as both parents are fit and willing to parent) The Court system should never be used as a weapon to get back at your ex. You may have left/ divorced your ex, but that doesn't mean your children have to.

Excellent news for Florida!

Florida Becomes Equal Custody State
We are thrilled to announce that Florida has joined the ranks of Equal Custody states! Senate Bill CS/HB 1301: Parenting and Time-sharing of Minor Children has been passed, revolutionizing the way custody is determined in the state.
Bill Summary: CS/HB 1301
Removes the requirement for an unanticipated change in circumstances to modify a parenting plan or time-sharing schedule.
Establishes a rebuttable presumption that equal time-sharing is in the child's best interests.
Sets a standard of evidence to rebut this presumption.
Requires the court to evaluate specific factors and provide written findings of fact when creating or modifying a time-sharing schedule.
Allows modification of time-sharing schedules.
Parents have to reside within 50 miles
Best interest still plays a factor
What This Means for Fathers
This bill is a significant victory for fathers, as it creates a fairer playing field in custody battles. Fathers can now expect equal consideration when it comes to time-sharing, and they can modify existing agreements more easily.
Next Steps
The bill is now awaiting the signature of the Governor of Florida, which will officially make it a law. Once signed, the bill will take effect on July 1, 2023.
Acknowledgements
I want to thank Kevin Grimes from our Florida Chapter for monitoring this bill and its advancement. Kevin has agreed to co-captain our Florida group to help assure we are able to provide as much information on this bill, any other upcoming bills or the utilization of the bill.

Great advice from one of our partners Pro Se Dad Thanks Anthony for your excellent post
REQUEST YOUR SUMMER VACATION NOW:
All, for many of us we typically have a 60 day advance notice for vacation time requests with mom. That means we are nearing our cut offs to get those requests in AND be able to successfully file for enforcement in court.

So while it may seem that mom needs to approve your vacation time request, typically if you get your requested days in prior than to the notice needed in your order, a judge will typically enforce your request.

I have the prompt below give me 3 different weeks as it makes it hard for mom to know which one is my real work and foil her attempts to sabatoge it. Plus it makes me seem more open to working with her and sells well in court

Here is a possible prompt and answer you can give chatGPT updating it with your specific information:

PROMPT:
You are a divorced dad who has a challenging toxic relationship with the mother of your child. Please write an email to her taking the following instructions into account in the voice of a parent who is trying to co-parent, focus on your child and would rather not talk about or have to deal with the court or court orders : 1. The topic of the email is requesting your vacation time for the summer 2. Give three different weeks within the months of July and August as options 3. Highlight that you are requesting the time with enough notice as stated in the court order 4. Include a 48 hr deadline for response to assure enough time to solidify plan

ANSWER:
Subject: Request for Summer Vacation Time with [Child's Name]
Dear [Ex-partner's Name],
I hope this email finds you well. I'm reaching out to discuss our vacation plans with [Child's Name] for the upcoming summer. It's important to me that we continue to provide [him/her] with a stable and loving environment, and part of that includes spending quality time with both parents.
As per our court order, I am giving you sufficient notice regarding my vacation time request. I have identified three possible weeks during the months of July and August that would work well for both [Child's Name] and me:
Week of July 10th - July 16th
Week of July 24th - July 30th
Week of August 7th - August 13th
Please take a look at these options and let me know which week would work best for you and [Child's Name]. I understand that we both have our own schedules and commitments, so I want to ensure that our arrangement is as seamless as possible for everyone involved.
To allow for ample time to solidify plans and make any necessary arrangements, I kindly ask that you respond to this email within 48 hours. Your prompt response will ensure that we can provide [Child's Name] with a memorable and enjoyable summer vacation, and I believe that working together in this manner is in [his/her] best interest.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon and to making this summer a special time for [Child's Name].
Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Happy Monday!

Just a friendly reminder that your selection of an attorney is the single most damaging thing you can do to your case and your chances to remain a relevant father in your child’s life.

If your attorney allows allegations of abuse to be entered on the record you can NOT recover from that.

Even if you fire your first attorney, they kept all your money and the next attorney won’t challenge any unethical stuff already on the record.

Vet your attorney like your life depends on it.

It just might.

We know this is a sad and emotional time for many of you. We know that many of you must either split time with your children or you don’t ever get to have your children for the holidays.

This made me think about the statement we all say of Wishing You A Merry Christmas. I got hung up on the word wish because for those of you that have exhausted every opportunity you feel you have wishing, praying, and hoping as all you feel you have left.
All of those are a double-edged sword as the hope can be the most damning feeling of them all.

I know for many of you Christmas does not mean a joyous and lighthearted time but instead a time where you withdraw because you don’t want the world to see you in misery and it makes you wish there really was a Santa so you could ask for the impossible and have a jolly old elf perform some Christmas magic. The reality however is that due to the animosity created in divorce and the corrupt nature of family court not only do you have to go another holiday without your children they are deprived of the opportunity for you to share the magic of Christmas from your perspective with them. I know for many of you Christmas is by far the most difficult day of the year. Many of you will allow for those very dark thoughts to creep in and asking for help is often more than any of you can bare especially when you have been let down and denied your god given right to your children again and again.

We at the ENL Project understand how you feel, and we want to help. We are sharing the emergency crisis number for our partner The Fathers' Rights Movement

The Fathers Rights Movement Crisis Hotline 907-312-5552

If you need to talk to someone now, please call. Beyond that we would like to have the opportunity to assist you in your case and help you acquire equal time with your children. We have many areas that we can help you. We also have many opportunities for you to in turn help others in this very same situation. If you are in need or have time to help, please reach out via our website ENLProject.org (Contact us)
and we will get back with you as quickly as possible.
