🍂 Fall Break is coming, and First Step Childcare Center has your family covered!

Community Action of South Mississippi is offering Intersession and Fall Break Camp for children ages 5 to 12 from September 28 through October 9, 2026.

Kids can enjoy full days filled with creative crafts, STEM activities, team games, educational fun, field trips, and more, all in a safe and nurturing environment.

We are looking for a qualified professional to join our team and provide financial, administrative, and clerical support across the organization.

The Accountant will assist with responsibilities including:

• Accounts payable and receivable
• Payroll processing
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Journal entries and fixed assets
• Financial reporting and data analysis
• General ledger functions
• Internal and external reporting

🎓 Education Required:
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Business Administration

💼 Experience Preferred:
2 to 4 years of professional accounting experience
