A ‘BIG’ thanks goes out to all of the CWUC members & volunteers who got involved to make this historical event a success. Although the battle to 'reclaim' our state goes on, we have taken a huge step in making it happen.

Organizers of the petition campaign to recall Governor Walker will announce this afternoon that they have collected more than 1 million signatures, almost twice the number needed to force a recall election, according to State Democratic Party Chair Mike Tate.

Yesterday, I addressed Why does America need labor unions? Apparently it was good, because it got my biggest critic, my wife (also a teacher), fired up about what collective bargaining means in her classroom.
