👋If you've dropped by the Municipal Center lately, you probably have met Ben Schlei, our summer intern.
Schlei is a 2024 graduate of Mosinee High School, where he participated in both baseball and football.
"As a lifelong resident of the area, I wanted to see what takes place behind the scenes to keep this amazing community running," he said. "I also wanted to see how I could help improve the community while I'm here."
Currently entering his third year at St. Norbert College, Schlei is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing, along with a minor in Finance. His educational background and enthusiasm for learning make him a valuable addition to our team.
Known for his outgoing personality and positive attitude, Schlei enjoys connecting with people and helping others. He credits his previous customer service experience and years of participation in team sports with teaching him the importance of communication, teamwork, and serving others.
Throughout his internship, he is looking forward to learning more about Village operations, contributing to community projects and attending local events where he can meet and connect with residents.
"I'm excited to gain a better understanding of how the Village operates and to contribute to its continued growth and success," he said. "If you see me at an event, don't hesitate to stop by and say hello!"
Outside of work and school, he enjoys participating in competitive activities, hunting, exploring the outdoors, riding ATVs and spending time with family and friends.
We are excited to have Ben with us this summer and look forward to the contributions he will make to our community!
