Here at FOB Columbia: Veteran Resources we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make our recent windshield repair fundraiser such a success!

A special thank you to Als Glassfor hosting the event and for Justin and his team's continued commitment to supporting the veterans of our community. Through the generosity of Al's Glass Service, Inc. and everyone who participated, we were able to raise over $500 to support FOB Columbia's mission of serving veterans throughout Grant County.

Thank you to Jacob's Radio for giving us the opportunity to share our story and our vision for cultivating stronger connections and support systems for veterans in our community. Your platform helps us reach those who may need our services and those who want to help.

We would also like to recognize Steve McUne, owner of 'All American Plumbing' and his sons for volunteering their time and energy during the event. Community members like you help make these gatherings possible.

To all of our volunteers, supporters, veterans, and community members who attended, Thank you. We enjoyed serving burgers, and brats BBqd by Brandon Douglass l Real Estate Broker l Windermere Real Estate and sharing snacks, and refreshments while spending time together, meeting new people, and building meaningful connections. One of the greatest successes of the day was bringing veterans and civilians together, creating conversations, friendships, and awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing our veteran community.

June is PTSD Awareness Month.

For many veterans, the battles don't always end when they come home. PTSD can affect daily life, relationships, physical health, and overall well-being. While the challenges may feel overwhelming at times, no one has to face them alone.

At FOB Columbia, we want every veteran and family member to know that support is available. Whether you're looking for resources, peer support, counseling referrals, or simply someone to listen, we're here to help connect you with the assistance you need.

Sometimes healing starts with something as simple as a conversation. We invite you to join us at any of our monthly events, grab a cup of coffee, stay awhile, and chat with fellow veterans who understand. There is no pressure, nor judgement, just a community that cares.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding PTSD and remind our veterans that they are never alone.

Tomorrow is the Veterans Stand Down and hiring event at WorkSource Moses Lake. There will be 12 Veteran Specific resources and 20+ employers. The Job Fair is open to everyone.

The fundraiser is officially set for May 30th! FOB Columbia will be providing brats, snacks, and water while you wait.

Grant County, we’re kicking off the season with our first event supporting local veterans through FOB Columbia: Veteran Services.

⏰ 10am-2pm

We’re partnering with Al’s Glass to offer free rock chip windshield repairs with any donation, all going to support local veterans.

Grant County, are you ready for an amazing year ahead?!

We know it’s already almost May, but trust us… we’ve got an action-packed lineup coming your way, and it’s going to be worth the wait!

We’ve been working behind the scenes and are so excited to partner with some incredible members of our community. We truly can’t wait to start sharing these events with all of you.

We’re kicking things off in a meaningful way with our first event! We are hosting a fundraiser supporting local veterans receiving assistance through FOB Columbia: Veteran Services.
