Good Morning Everyone,
Due to factors out of our control, i.e.; WHO (World Health Organization) Declaration of Global Pandemic, Governor Inslee banning large gatherings in the state, we are postponing the Grant County Convention. We don’t have another date set as yet and won’t until WHO lifts the declaration and Inslee lifts the ban. According to the news this morning, the Coronavirus has not reached its peak, and it is going to get worse. For everyones’ sake, it simply isn’t worth the risk of a greater outbreak in Grant County. Please stay tuned, we will be voting for delegates and alternate delegates online per the WSRP. I will keep you informed so please open your emails from me every time and answer your phone when I call from the number listed below.
So here is how it will go;
1. For now, we are postponed to a date as yet unknown.
2. We will have online voting set up by the State Party and thereby stay within the Rules for electing delegates and alternates to the State Convention.
3. We will officially have our Convention at a later date.
4. At that time, we will do the other things that are planned for that event; platform, resolutions, speakers, and candidates to introduce themselves, etc.
