Every 6 seconds (probably), someone in Idaho gets a threatening text about unpaid traffic citations or a warrant and immediately panics. We get it. It sounds official. It feels urgent. It has an official looking link. If you owe the courts something like your money or your presence, they will stuff a paper into an envelope and mail it to your residence like its 1987.

Delete the text. Touch some grass. We are here if you need us.

Today we take a moment to shine a well-deserved spotlight on the incredible administrative team that keeps our department running.

Records Manager🗃️
Every report filed, every document archived, and every public records request fulfilled passes through the careful hands of our Records Manager. They are the keepers of our department’s history and the gatekeepers of transparency. They ensure that critical information is accurately maintained, legally compliant, and accessible when it matters most. When a deputy needs their report, or the public needs answers, our Records Manager makes it happen with precision and care. Their role doesn’t stop at reports, they are also responsible for processing Concealed Weapons Permits and Registering S*x Offenders.

Civil Division ⚖️
Our Civil Clerk handles the legal and administrative processes that most people never see but everyone relies on. From processing civil papers and court orders to coordinating with legal entities and ensuring proper service of process, they navigate complex procedures with professionalism and thoroughness. Their work protects the rights of our community members and ensures that the wheels of justice keep turning smoothly.

Administrative Systems Coordinator and Evidence Technician 🖥️
This multi-faceted role manages the technology, databases, and systems that our deputies and staff use every day. As the evidence technician, they ensure that every piece of evidence is collected, catalogued, stored, and preserved with the integrity that justice demands. The role demands meticulous attention to detail that can make or break a case, and they take that responsibility seriously.

To our entire administrative team, thank you. You organize what would otherwise be chaos, and you make it possible for our deputies to focus on responding to calls for service and enforcing the law. Your dedication may not always make the headlines, but it is felt in every successful investigation, every case that goes to trial, and every community member who receives the help they need. We are grateful for you not just today, but everyday.
