The election meeting for Iranian Students Club at the U of I for the year 2022-2023 was held and the new board members were elected as follows:

1- Mohammad Karimzadeh (President)
2- Mina Soltani (Vice President)
3- Yasaman Dadras (Officer)
4- Ashkan Khanizadeh (Officer)

As in the past, Mrs. Bita Amiri will be the Treasurer of the club.

We would like to thank each and everyone of the club's last year's members for their efforts and contributions and wish good luck to the new board.

- طبق قانون، سرشماری سال ۲۰۲۰ تمامی افرادی که در آمریکا زندگی می‌کنند (شهروند، دانشجو، گرین‌کارت) را شامل میشود.
- در فرم سرشماری علاوه بر نژاد (race)، محل خاستگاه (origin) نیز قابل ذکر است و با تلاش گروه‌های اجتماعی ایرانی، امسال عبارت Iranian (و تنها همین عبارت) ثبت خواهند شد.
- نتایج سرشماری دولت‌های ایالتی و فدرال را ملزم می‌سازد تا برای هر گروه قومیتی امکانات و امتیازات ویژه فراهم سازد.
- اطلاعات سرشماری همچون مالیات محرمانه است.
- فرم‌های سرشماری به درب خانه‌‌ها پست شده‌اند، ولی در صورت دریافت نکردن آن میتوانید به راحتی در سایت 2020census.gov تنها در چند دقیقه اقدام به پر کردن فرم نمایید.
- برای سوال شماره ۹، هر کدام از گزینه ها (White, Asian, Black, etc) که مناسب شماست انتخاب کنید و حتما در مقابل آن بنویسید Iranian (عبارات دیگر شمرده نخواهند شد).
