Purple Pelisse is a striking mid-season fingerling potato prized for its deep purple skin and richly colored flesh. This high-yielding variety produces smooth, small oblong tubers that hold their vibrant color beautifully when cooked. Perfect for boiling, baking, or crafting eye-catching chips, Purple Pelisse adds both visual appeal and gourmet flair to any dish.

Pre-nuclear potatoes are the earliest generation of potatoes. These are grown from tissue culture in our greenhouses. Because these have never been grown in native soil, they are free of disease. These marble sized tubers can produce high yields of up to 200% or more by weight.

When you hear other gardeners saying NO to planting grocery store potatoes. Why?
πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»
1. Grocery store potatoes are on their last life cycle bringing yields down dramatically.
2. Most food potatoes, unless organic are sprayed with an inhibitor to make sure they do not sprout for a better shelf life.
3. Potatoes, like any plant, harbor organisms that create disease which can infect your soil, harming other crops for years to come.
4. Seed potatoes are grown specifically for seed and go through rigorous certification by seed potato boards.

Buying certified seed from your local nursery, or seed company will ensure you are getting a healthy, high yielding product for a successful garden season!

Sports dietician takes on carb misconceptions by championing nutrient-dense potatoes.

"Potatoes have something called resistant starch, which research indicates may help us feel full,” Kelly said. β€œThis is especially true when it’s part of a balanced meal that includes plenty of protein and some fat, because those nutrients work together to stabilize blood sugar and provide sustained energy levels throughout the day.”
