☀️🍔 SUNSHINE, SMILES & A MORTON ZONE THROWBACK! 🐾

Lunch just hits differently when the sun is shining, burgers are on the menu, and Panther friends are gathered around the picnic tables! Our seventh graders enjoyed lunch outside, Superintendent Mr. Chad Harrison joined the fun, and one fifth-grade Panther gave our classic burgers with all the trimmings an official thumbs-up! 👍🏼

🎉🐾 WEEK 1 — AND OUR PANTHERS CAME TO SCHOOL READY! 💙💛

BMJ kicked off Attendance Awareness Month by exceeding our 95% schoolwide attendance goal, finishing September 1–3 with a 97.60% average! That is something worth celebrating!👏🏾👏🏼👏🏽👏👏🏾👏🏼👏🏾👏🏻👏🏿

We also had three days and three different grade-level champions: 🏆 5th Grade on Tuesday, 🏆 6th Grade on Wednesday, and 🏆 7th Grade on Thursday. That tells us the competition is wide open—and EVERY GRADE can lead the Panthers!

📈 WEEK 2 CHALLENGE: 98% SCHOOLWIDE!
Based on our 97.60% Week 1 average, I recommend setting Week 2’s goal at 98%. It is a small but meaningful increase—just 0.40 percentage points—that keeps the goal challenging while still realistic.

Panthers, can we hit 98% next week? 🔥

IXL Leaderboard Winners Recognized for 7th grade 💙💛

Congratulations to Kennedy Frith and Cassidy Flowers for earning the top spots on the August IXL Leaderboards! Kennedy ranked #1 in ELA, while Cassidy earned #1 in Math. Both students received special goodie bags in recognition of their hard work and achievement.
