However, expect some flooding in low lying areas or slow draining areas. Be alert and slow down if you see water on the road. Avoid areas that may be too deep and cause your vehicle to stall.

Thanks to the whiteface School for inviting us to their annual First Responder recognition during their football game. Thank you for the meal, the pull pork was amazing. Of course as usual, Sheriff De La Cruz, Sgt Covarrubias and Deputy Scivally got to take a picture with the cheerleaders.

Always great to hang out with our communities.

Sgt. Covarrubias got to spend sometime with Morton Elementary kids today. They learned important bus safety and etiquette.

Always a good day to hang out with our school kids and teach them. Thanks to Mrs. Boggs for including us.

Deputy Jacob Scivally got to join Whiteface School Chief Lemon in welcoming the kids back to school. Thanks to Chief Lemon and the Whiteface Fire Department for all their work and dedication to our children and for allowing us to be a part of their day.

The Cochran County Commionsers Court has adopted new rule and regulations for the Morton Cemetery and County Park.
