The Office of the Environment (OE) was created in 1992 to increase the environmental regulatory presence on the Lower Sioux Reservation and to develop environmental programs for the Community. Since that time, the OE has developed a wide variety of environmental programs and has worked effectively over the years to improve the health and safety of tribal members. Mission Statement

The Office of the Environment is hosting an Earth Day event next Wednesday, April 22nd.

Community Clean-Up (4:00–5:00 PM)
A community clean-up event will take place from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Please meet at the Incubator entrance for:
Sign-in
Raffle entry
T-shirt sign-up

Outreach Event (5:00–7:00 PM)
After the clean-up, we will transition into a come-and-go outreach event in the REC gym from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. All are encouraged to stop by to explore information booths, view current grant progress and opportunities, and pick up take-home items for both children and adults.
