Our hearts are heavy today. We keep the Carrollton Police Department in our thoughts and prayers. 💙 Sending love, strength, and support to Officer Krish’s sweet wife, family, friends, and fellow officers during this unimaginable time. Please know that you are not alone. 💙

He is healed and home with Jesus. While we are heartbroken on earth, what a celebration Dustin is having in Heaven.

Chief Richards put it best…..Dustin was the best of us. He was unwavering in his duty, courageous, and faithful until the end.

Please, please continue to pray for the love of his life, Emily, Sgt. Chad Krish (his brother), and his entire family…..blood and blue. 💙

Last night at the Morrow City Council meeting, we pinned three of our own. 🎖️

Lieutenant Murphy- 10 years.
Sergeant Fortune and Officer Lam- 5 years each.

Each of these guys bring something to the table that keeps this machine running smoothly.

Look, this job is hard. The hours are long, the holidays get missed, and some days test everything you’ve got. But you show up anyway, for this department, for this community, and for each other.

We fuss, we laugh, we share the good and the bad with each other that many will never understand. That kind of loyalty is everything in this line of work.

Proud of you three. Truly. Morrow is better because you chose this. 💙🚔

That kid crossing the street? He doesn’t fully understand your speed. You do.

Slow down near crosswalks, yield to pedestrians, and put the phone down. 17% of children under the age of 14 are killed in traffic crashes are pedestrians. Let’s not add to that number.

Two minutes before the ride beats hours on the side of the road. Or worse.

What’s wrong with this picture?

Three kids. Three bikes. Only TWO helmets… and one is not even on anybody’s head. 👀

🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑

🚲 Two kids with no helmet on at all.

🚲 One helmet being carried on the handlebars instead of, you know… the head it’s supposed to protect.

🚲 No helmets properly fastened on any of the riders.

Helmets only work when they’re ON and buckled. Carrying one doesn’t count. Owning one doesn’t count.

Parents, talk to your kids. Kids, talk to each other.

Nobody looks cool with a head injury.

Wearing all black at night isn’t a vibe. It’s a hazard.

We get it, dark clothes are cute. (Just take a look at my closet😎) But you know what’s not cute? Being invisible to a 4,000 pound vehicle doing 40mph. Nearly 77% of pedestrian fatalities happen in the dark, and we’d really like to keep Morrow out of that statistic. Please and thank you 🥳

Light colors. Reflective gear. Cross at crosswalks. Look both ways like your parents taught you. 👀
