Community Day is Opening Day!

Kick off the 2026 season on May 9 at Shelburne Museum with a FREE, all-ages celebration filled with new exhibitions, live music, hands-on activities, and more. Wander galleries, explore historic buildings and gardens, join guided tours, and get creative with artmaking, games, and performances.

In collaboration with the Vermont Community Foundation , the day emphasizes connection and belonging, encouraging visitors to engage as “neighbors, not strangers” through shared experiences like collective artmaking, seed swapping, and conversation!
