Roughly 79,000 Vermont kids live in households that struggle to cover every basic need. And school being back in session sometimes doesn't ease that burden.
Here are programs that can help Lamoille County residents and how to get connected:
3SquaresVT. Vermont's food benefits program, for help affording groceries month to month. Apply online, by phone, or in person. Most decisions come within 30 days.
Lamoille Community Food Share. Free groceries, no appointment required, open to anyone in Lamoille County. 197 Harrell Street, Morrisville.
Salvation Farms. Vermont-grown produce rescued and redirected to families who need it.
WIC. Nutrition support for pregnant people and families with children under 5.
