The Morristown Alliance for Culture and Commerce mission is to help ensure a strong and viable downtown, north-end commercial district and riverfront. We all want a strong downtown - - a community that is beautiful, full of vitality and thriving economically. Every MACC project encourages business growth and aesthetic improvements in our town's commercial centers, making it the kind of place where we all want to live, visit or work. Whether it's aesthetic improvements, job creation or tax credits, MACC adds value to our community, moving it forward. MACC memberships further our work with property owners, businesses, and community organizations to keep our town's inviting hometown atmosphere and bring new life to our commercial districts.

MACC’s Chair Auction is back! 🪑🎨

After a summer on display at venues throughout the community, these one-of-a-kind works of art are ready for their final stop: the auction!

Join us at Rocktoberfest on Saturday, September 26th, at 10:45 AM at the Tegu Building to bid on your favorite chair and take home a unique piece of local creativity.

Funds raised support MACC’s activities, including creative and cultural programs for Morristown.

Come see the chairs, place your bid, and support the arts in our community!

Rocktoberfest is back! 🍂 We are so excited for the 14th Annual Rocktoberfest in downtown Morrisville on Saturday, September 26th from 10 AM to 4 PM!

Enjoy live music, local food and vendors, the Adirondack Chair Auction, dancing, family-friendly activities, puppet shows, and more- all along Portland Street.

Named a 2026 Vermont Chamber of Commerce Signature Event, Rocktoberfest is a free celebration of community, creativity, and fall in Vermont.

The Green Line History & Art Walk is a 10 block walking tour of downtown Morrisville. It blends local history with public art and follows the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail through the historic district.

You follow the green line all through town and when you see an arrow, there is a plaque nearby that provides information about the site you are visiting. It’s quite interesting and we are so happy to have had the green line recently repainted for you all to enjoy!

The Noyes House Museum offers a printed map of the History & Art Walk as well. They are open every Saturday through the Fall!

Take a walk along the green line, stop and enjoy the painted chairs, local businesses and all the beautiful sights of downtown Morrisville!

Goldfinch Gourmet Foods is a small, family business focused on bringing the best of local and international flavors to our community. goldfinchgourmet offers a rotating selection of pastries, breakfast and lunch options as well as coffee, drinks and an international food market!

Shown here is a Supreme Croissant, topped with chocolate and Boston cream filling inside. It was so delicious!

We are so lucky to have such a wonderful spot in town!

There are often questions about the painted chairs throughout the town and we are here to answer them! Chair Art Able is a creative community project that showcases local talent while adding colorful public seating and enhancing walkability throughout our downtown!

This year, local artists transformed Adirondack chairs, camp chairs, and small tables into unique works of art. These pieces are displayed throughout town for everyone to enjoy before being auctioned off at Rocktoberfest.

You are able to sit in the chairs downtown through Summer and then bid to bring home your favorite in October!

Chair Art Able raises public awareness of the incredible creativity in our community, and funds raised through the auction help support MACC’s creative and cultural programs for Morristown.

Keep an eye out for these one-of-a-kind creations, enjoy a relaxing seat and celebrate the artists who make our community vibrant!

A local favorite for great food, drinks, and fun is waiting for you in Morrisville! 🍕

Pizza on Main serves up delicious pizza in a welcoming atmosphere, with walls filled with local artwork, plenty of TVs to catch the game, and a bar with local brews to enjoy!

Don’t miss their popular slice special which is perfect for lunch, and make plans to join them for Trivia Night every Thursday at 7:00 PM. It’s the perfect way to enjoy great food and a little friendly competition!
