Community Notice
We are aware of recent reports of thefts occurring within the village and want to remind all residents to take extra precautions to protect their property.

Please remember to:
🔒 Lock your vehicles, even when parked at home.
🔒 Remove valuables from plain sight.
🔒 Secure garages, sheds, and other outbuildings.
🔒 Lock bicycles, tools, and other outdoor equipment when not in use.

If you notice suspicious activity, unfamiliar individuals on private property, or anything that seems out of place, please report it. If you see something, say something. Prompt reporting can help prevent thefts and assist law enforcement in keeping our community safe. For non-emergency police dispatch, call 315-366-2311.

Thank you for doing your part to help protect our village and look out for one another. If you have neighbors who aren’t on social media, please share this with them.

4/2/26 2:05 pm: Village of Morrisville Residents: The Village Office has been notified that an individual is once again going door to door asking to see your NYSEG bill. He will state that he has a permit. He does not. Please do not provide any personal information. Picture of the young man below. As a reminder, we'll include any solicitor permits issued in the village newsletter and post on Facebook and Nextdoor. Contact the Village Office with questions or concerns.

UPDATE: The repair has been made and water service restored to all areas. Thanks for your patience!

VILLAGE OF MORRISVILLE EMERGENCY WATER MAIN REPAIR: Residents on Cambridge Ave., Amherst Circle, Radnor Lane, & Williams Street: Due to a water main break, water service will be terminated this morning (Tuesday, February 17). Work will begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. Once the break is located, water service to these streets will be terminated so the repair can be made. If the break is not significant, it will take approximately one hour for service to be restored.

Reminder to Village Residents - garbage/recyclable pickup will be delayed one day due to both Christmas and New Years Day. Pickup will be on Friday. Please have carts to the curb by 6:00 am to ensure pickup. Also, a friendly reminder that carts cannot be overflowing or the hauler will not pick them up. Happy Holidays!

Village Residents: There was a man just going door-to-door on North Street. When asked by multiple residents if he had a permit to do so, he said he didn't need one because he was "only getting information". Village Officials made contact with him and we believe he and the group he was with have moved on. As a reminder, anyone coming to your door requesting information, asking to see your energy bill, etc., must have a permit issued by the village and they must show it to you. Please do not provide any personal information to strangers. Call the Village Office with questions or concerns.

Are you facing food insecurity? Or are you in a position to help those who are?

Morrisville Community Church Food Pantry is available for those who need help. For neighbors who want to help support the pantry, they are in need of unexpired canned, jar and boxed food donations, along with monetary donations.

The Morrisville Community Church Food Pantry is open Tuesday & Thursday 10:00a-12:00p noon, or the first Saturday of the month 10:00a-12:00p noon. The pantry is located at 3824 Swamp Road, Morrisville.

Additionally, for those in a position to help, also consider donating to the Madison County Office for the Aging Food Drive. Prime 67 at 67 E Main Street is our local drop off location.
