🚨 FLOODING ROADWAY ADVISORY 🚨

Morrisville Police Department is advising motorists to AVOID Philadelphia Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue due to flooding and hazardous roadway conditions.

Water levels may change quickly, and roadways may become unsafe or impassable. Please do not attempt to drive through flooded areas.

If you can avoid these roadways, please use an alternate route.

Today, the Morrisville Police Department would like to take a moment to recognize two very special members of our department — Officer Williamson and Officer DeLuca.
Being a police officer is more than putting on a uniform and wearing a badge. It takes courage, compassion, patience, strength, and a genuine desire to help others. Officer Williamson and Officer DeLuca demonstrate those qualities every day through the way they serve our community and the people they encounter.
We are incredibly proud to have them as part of our Morrisville Police Department family. Their dedication, professionalism, and willingness to step up when others need help do not go unnoticed. They represent not only our department, but the very best of what it means to serve and protect.
On this National Police Woman Day, we want to say thank you to Officer Williamson and Officer DeLuca — thank you for your commitment, your sacrifices, and for proudly wearing the badge. We appreciate you more than words can say. 💙

Remembering September 11th

Today, the Morrisville Police Department pauses to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We remember the thousands of innocent people who never made it home, and we honor the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, and other first responders who bravely ran toward danger to help others.

Their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness will never be forgotten. We also remember the families, friends, and communities who continue to carry the loss.

Today and every day, we remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR RETIREMENT, CHIEF SCHMIDT

The Morrisville Borough Police Department extends its sincere congratulations to Upper Makefield Township Police Chief Mark Schmidt on his well-deserved retirement.

Chief Schmidt’s more than 40 years of dedicated service to the Upper Makefield community is a remarkable accomplishment. Beginning his career as a police officer in 1980 and serving as Chief since 1997, he has devoted his career to protecting and serving the residents of Upper Makefield Township.
Throughout his distinguished career, Chief Schmidt has demonstrated strong leadership, professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to both his officers and the community he served. He has also been a respected colleague and valued member of the Bucks County law enforcement community.

The Morrisville Borough Police Department is grateful for Chief Schmidt’s friendship, leadership, and years of service to the law enforcement profession. His contributions and positive impact will continue to be remembered for years to come.
Chief Schmidt, thank you for more than four decades of dedicated service and commitment to the community. We wish you all the best in retirement and in the next chapter of your life.
