8/1/2022 TRAFFIC ADVISORY

For the next 48 Hours, there will be a partial road closure on Washington Street between Cattano Ave and Atno Ave due to emergency Road Construction.

Washington Street between Cattano Ave and Atno Ave will be closed in the Westbound direction until further notice for emergency road construction. A Westbound detour has been put in place diverting traffic onto Cattano Ave. Eastbound traffic will remain open however traffic delays are still to be expected and work is expected for the next 48 hours.

ALERT MOTORISTS!

Beginning Monday, June 13, the right travel lanes along Columbia Turnpike at the county bridge by Ely’s Tropical Fish in Florham Park will be closed 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as preliminary design work is done for potential repair and replacement of the bridge.

The work will last about 4 days, weather permitting.

CONSTRUCTION ALERT

BOONTON TURNPIKE (ROUTE 202)/MOUNTAINVIEW BOULEVARD BRIDGE in WAYNE

THE FOLLOWING PASSAIC COUNTY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IS UNDERWAY:

BRIDGE DECK REPAIRS

Bridge deck repairs will be completed starting the night of Thursday, May 19th and are anticipated to take two (2) weeks to complete.

Construction will be completed at night, from 7:00pm to 5:00am.

Alternating traffic will be established and maintained for the duration of the work at night. The bridge will be fully opened to traffic from 5:00am to 7:00pm.

All travelers in this area must remain alert to construction equipment and watch carefully for the safety of construction workers.

Morris County project is repaving Mount Hope Avenue/CR 661

New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced the I-80 ramps to and from Mount Hope Avenue/CR 661 will be closed and detoured tonight and tomorrow for a county milling and paving project in Rockaway, Morris County.

Beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, Thursday, August 19 until 6 a.m. tomorrow, Morris County’s contractor is scheduled to close and detour I-80 westbound Exit 35A to Mount Hope Avenue/CR 661 southbound/Dover and I-80 eastbound Exit 35 to Mount Hope Avenue /CR 661 northbound and southbound/Mount Hope/Dover. These closures are required for milling and paving on Mount Hope Avenue/CR 661.

Beginning at 8 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, August 20 until 6 a.m. Saturday, August 21, I-80 westbound Exit 35B to Mount Hope Avenue/CR 661/Mount Hope is scheduled to be closed and detoured for milling and paving. Motorists are advised to follow the signed detours or plan alternate routes.
